Hi im thinking about buying a digital climate control and a digital gauge cluster for my S14

I want this one

on ebay it says its for the S13 but will this fit on my s14?

i dont really like the other one, this one says for S14

but i will settle if installing the s13 one is not complicated

also

i bought a gauge cluster like this one, also labeled for an s13

i havent take the cluster down but is it just plug in the harnesses and thats it or what? that goes for the climate control too, is it plug and enjoy?

Dude, don't wanna be a buzzkill and to tell you it won't work. But it wont. The mounts for the s13 and s14 climate control are different. That in itself is minor. The wiring however is going to be epic. So if you're into doing that then by all means do it. If you have a stock analog climate control currently... you'll probably need the servos/actuators that move the temp from hot to cold and also need the digital climate control harness. The connectors for analog/digital are pretty different (as I believe)

As for the clusters, again not going to work and will be more of a hassle then actually having a s13. For one, the shape of the s13 cluster is completely different than the s14. Then you'll need the sub-harness for the digital cluster. IF after you've solved that problem (like fabbing a s14 cluster housing to fit s13 gauges) You'll obviously need the wiring done. On top of that your fuel/tach/speedo/etc may get incorrect readings throwing you off. (ie: speedo saying you're going 35 when you're actually going 50)

IMO its far toooo much work for something that might not even work. If you don't know, 18-21 year old digital clusters are prone to burn out. They're f***ing old and it happens. Mine blew out 6 months after getting the car back in '03, swapped over to an analog after buying 2 other digital clusters trying to get them to work. I would live nothing more than to have a digital cluster again. Even thought of buying one from the factory for $325-$425

chances are if it says s13, its for a freakin s13.

same goes for s14.

otherwise, they'd just say "slap this b**** on any car you want"

i cant believe this was even a viable thing that went thru your squishy gray-matter.
