Question about diffs? ATS 2way diff - Open vs vlsd?

Nissan dominates the drift scene - Always has, always will.

Ok I was on Takakaira's website and they have the ATS diffs there. But they have 2 variants of the same diff, one is open 2 way and the other is VLSD 2way. Is this for those specific models IE S14 base is open and SE is VLSD or is this different variants of the same diff. I am hella confused someone please help me

You have to decide if your car has LSD stock and then make your decision on which diff to buy. so jack up the back of your car and rotate a wheel, if the wheel rotates to opposite way its an open diff, if it rotates the same way, then its a LSD. so choose your new diff according to that.

The output shafts are different for open and vlsd, and that is why u must choose open or lsd.

hope this helped

Cool thanks, so since mines a base model S14 it's an open diff bc I dogleg it when I do a burnout. So I need to get the Open 2 way diff.
