ummm.. I don't know where you heard abotu collages being free in Cali but it is wrong! If there was such thing as free collage.. I would have been the first to be there! There are grants and such. you can get scholarship or have financial aide that can pay your way through but you still have tuition never the less!!!!

Actually I got college for free... I actually got paid to go to college. Just apply for every damn scholarship you can find and make sure you keep pretty decent grades. Every Semester I got about 1,500 dollars back... then I got dumb and got carried away, about the beginning of my 3rd year, my grades dropped way low and I dropped and went to a 2 year college for my A.S Degree instead, now I gotta pay :doh , college Sucked @ss anyway. Can't stand study'n 12 hours a day... yuk!!!

Well, I'm sure collages are free if you make them yourself out of old Sport Compact Car magazines (but you wouldn't want to do that). Thing is...you have to be accepted to college before you can go...and I don't see that happening from reading this post.

Sorry, I know that's kind of harsh, but this whole thread is so ridiculous I couldn't resist.

There are no free colleges in Florida. There are scholarship plans (2/2 and 4) such as Bright Futures. The 2/2 is 2 years at community & 2 years at college all paid, while the 4 is 4 years in college paid. You need service hours, I think about 75-100. You could take the law test and get a paid scholarship to Stetson. The only free colleges I have ever heard of were the ones in Sweden.
