So I'm building my sr20 cause I spun a rod bearing. Crower rods, cams, valves, springs and retainers, wiseco pistons, soon a bigger turbo, upgrading the fuel system to handle Wat I want to put out, etc. my question is, will the clevite tri-metal "p"series bearings hold up to 500-600 hp?? I ordered the bearings and they came in today and saw that they are p series bearings, I've searched and searched for h or v series bearings from clevite for the sr20det and I can not find them, h and v series from clevite is their race series bearings. I don't wanna throw the p series in it and spin a bearing because it couldn't handle the power, any help or suggestions?? And yes I know ACL makes race bearings for sr20's but I prefer clevite, if these bearings can't hold that power and clevite doesn't make h or v series bearings I will just go with ACL

P series bearings have to be broke in to become strong vs race bearings are drop in and run it. Call clevite.... They can better explain it.

Oh ok, we'll I plan on doing about a 3k mile break in, I called Touge factory and there's a guy there running these on his personal sr20 with 480hp and says they holding up fine, but I'll give clevite a call as well, thanks
