question about cams?

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

i searched and couldn't find anything...........I was wondering if rb20det cams will work on a rb25det.

the variable timing setup might be a problem. I just checked one of my HKS catalogs, EX is the same between the two, IN is not.

The ideal setup is to run more intake than exhaust, Example would be 276 intake/ 272 exhaust. Although this concept goes against common understanding and principle. Yet, dynotuning has proven that more intake renders considerable hp gains.

you can get 280/270 cams from Apex. I was thinking about that but not getting info from any rb's that have done that I just went with the 270's I think there rated at 8.9 lift.
