question about ca18de thermostat

hey guys I just bought a CA18DE pulsar thermostat for my ca18det and I noticed that the they're not the same diameter (the valve that open and closes) anybody has experienced troubles with a CA18DE thermostat on a CA18DET ?? I'll post pictures soonthanks

Ive had no troubles, and Ive had a couple of different DE thermostats on my car over the years.

i changed mine before the swap and it works great.

I've always run DE ones. I just put in a new Duralast and it sucks however. My old Murray ones would run at 180*, and even though this one is boxed as such, my car runs at about 195* now. Had to turn my fans down a bit.

ok and I bought the 195C instead of 180 is that "ok"

Yes 195 is fine. I used that in Florida heat.

i sure hope its not 195*C!! maybe 195*F haha
