Ok well i just got cibie h4 housing and for the time being i put some h4 bulbs i already had. and right away a was amazed how good they looked compared to the cheep housing had on before. but now im choosing what bulb to use. I know the stock wattage is 55/60w. Now i was reading that it would be safe to run a 65/70w bulb in there. has anyone ever use a higher wattage bulb?

I'm not sure what the stock circuit can handle, but I don't know that I'd want to risk burning stuff up. There's also the possibility on some cars that the circuit will end up limiting the current, meaning you won't even get the higher wattage out of the bulbs. If you used the bulbs Danial Stern recommends, you will be happy with them. If you really want higher wattage bulbs, I'd recommend running them on relays to be safe.
