I have a 95 240sx (automatic)

I searched, but I still want to be sure. I was starting to put my kit together but I can't even put my turbo on the manifold because the brake master cylinder is hitting the turbo.

I even tried a smaller turbo that my friend has and it didn't fit. I remember reading a post from someone before, and it mentioned changing out the brake booster from a automatic to a manual one. I looked at a manual one on a s13 and it was a lot smaller than the one thats on my car.

So, these are the questions that I need answered. If I change the brake booster to a manual one will it give me enough clearance, or should i just throw my ebay special top mount manifold in the garbage (wich really isn't a option I don't have so much money to spend to buy a another ).

and will a s13 manual booster work on the s14.

Thanks a lot for any help guys!

what manifold are you using and what turbo are you using. and no, a s13 BMC will not work for a S14....the hard brake lines do not line up.

Craving 4 boost im not talking about the brake master cylinder, just the booster I remember someone saying that they changed it to make more room. I have one of those ssautochrome topmount manifolds.

oh ok. well, i remember seeing a guy welding on another plate onto the flange of the manifold to lift the turbo higher. he said it worked to clear the BMC but i dont know for sure. is it the whole turbo hitting the lines or are you scared the DP wont fit? theres always a way to make the DP fit...weldin a custom one...or knocking it in the DP to let the hard lines sit on it WITH heat wrap. but thats ghetto.

im not sure about the brake booster...never tried it

yeah i had that problem. my 98 240 manual came with a brake booster that cleared my mani, but when it came time for a new booster i brought it to the parts place and they couldnt identify the part. i ended up using a manual s13 booster in its place and it worked but it was closer to the mani then the original. my mani is the boost designs one and a t.3 3.4 turbo mounted on top. try that.

Craving 4 boost- I couldn't even get the turbo to line up with the threads on the manifold becuase the turbo was already hitting the master cylinder.

get up mark- I was going to the junkyard today to look for a s13 one but they close early at 4:00. Im going to have to wait till i have more time to go and get one. But my back housing is a lot bigger than yours.

Damn turbo! This is the same turbo that i got with my kit that i bought from another member here through ebay (uvamosk)

hey get up mark can you give me the size and specs of your turbo. I still have the same problem with this damn turbo. I change the booster to the smaller one and its the same thing. I tried my friends turbo this time and it atleast can be bolt on, but its way to close to the master cylinder. I feel like selling all of this stuff im getting so tired. This manifold is kicking my ***. I might have to buy another manifold.
