Hey guys, i'm new here and i just recently bought a sr20det 89 s13 hatch, and like most people i love the sound of a BOV. I was wondering what i need to do get get a BOV because i heard you can't install one with the stock intercooler and pipes. I also heard that you need a front mount intercooler, or you just need a hot pipe. Any help is appriciated, thanks

Here's a pic of it

you don't NEED to have an fmic or all that other stuff. You'll find that the stock smic has a weird growth on it, that's the stock recirc. You can pull that off and cap it. You can also get a pipe section with a flange welded to it for your specific bov and deal with it that way and have it fit up along that pipe that's sitting longitudinally to the car on the hot side of the IC.

-or you could just go buy a SR hotpipe with a flange for several different BOVs' pre-welded onto it.

see the following

You may need a front mount with a couple of those, but nothing a little bit of cutting can fix.

Later,

Jason
