Question about Blue/Red main ignition wire

I just recently got some time to check over the wiring again, I noticed that on the ECU harness (near the ECU) the blue/red wire (I guess this is the one that is spliced into the Black/red for main ignition, it really thick blue/red) it is was originally on my dash harness plug. My question is can any one tell me if the thick blue/red wire is suppose to be connected to the ECU directly? and if it is which pin is it supose to be on?
