question about being pulled over with suspended license

well, that hapepned tonight, anyways, my license was to be reinstated end of this month. I was wondering if that's still the case now that I got a ticket? though the ticket does not show that I dont have a license. He did give me the thingy on the left and confiscated my suspended license. Although no action is required for that one... I am afraid that it will interfere with my driver license reinstatement

ya thats simple.. if you were driving on suspended license.. be happy you didn't go to jail. I just got mine reinstated last week and didn't drive for 3 wks... why risk it?

I don't know about other states but..... In RI If you can get your License reinstated within Ten days after getting caught driving while suspended you are in the clear. If not $$$$$ fines and aditional suspension

Um....Not sure about out in California but down here court system is SLOW. And they might not even notice that you got another ticket. Just depends how fast they push your papers through the system.

hey, when you live on your own, have a full time job and night school, you don't really got a choice

anyways: to the left of the photo you'll see the notice that doesn't require any action. When I got my license suspended they said to mail in the driver license but I didn't. I think/hope it's the same thing.

and to the right, you'll see the actural ticket that I have to go to court for. I think/ not sure, that the cop gave me a break and didn't put no driver license, just speeding and no proof of insurance.

on the 29th of this month I can finally get my license back, well, suppose to.

I believe in California, if you're caught driving without Insurance you get your license suspended, and if you're caught driving with a suspended license, you get your car impounded for a certain amount of time.

i would go try to get your license if the court date is after you can get it back. you can at least drive till the court date. none of the tickets actually get put on your record till you go to court. that notice will go to court and then you just explain that you never got a notice of suspension. that is what i would do.
