Thats the setup I have and its great. You can adjust with the gains for sound and the amp has a three position switch for "bass boost". You can tell when its workin. This setup isn't high cost but it works VERY well and if yer lookin for some bass it'll give you all you want. MTX is middle of the road or better when it comes to audio. Some will agree....some will disagree. Quality of sound comes from your adjustments to the radio and amp, most setups are 0 on the bass, very low if not 0 on the mids (personal choice) and mid or higher on the highs (again, personal choice) all on the radio. From there you adjust the amp for what YOU want to get out of it.....If you just want monster bass without quality....turn everything to the max, otherwise it'll take some time to find your "sweet spot".
I haven't installed the pulleys yet, can't seem to coordinate with my mechanic and he is closed on the weekends. If you remember, we had this discussion about the way the "set" is set up. Because of the underdrive crank, the others are slightly over stock size to compensate for any loss in the cooling and electrical systems. I will try to get them done this week for you viv .
