just be prepared to spend 3000

although the engine and labor cost less than that, you'll wanna upgrade a few things here and there while your at it..

those prices are just for the motorset and the labor, but to complete the swap i need a downpipe, intake kit, smic( motorset didn't include), and a radiator/electric fan. It costs about 600 in extra parts to do the swap but it's still a good deal i guess

yes, you just need some longer hoses and you cant use the fan shroud. Id buy a used SMIC just to get you on the road. 750 is a good price for labor, I recommend doing it yourself, because you will learn a lot, but it is time consuming.

i would love to do it myself but i have neither the tools, facilities, or the time because it is a daily driver and my mechanic said he could have it in on a monday morning and out by tuesday evening, plus i have no clue what to do other than read the How-to in the Project Car issue No.1, lol.

That was a good article... If your mechanic is that sure then great. Has he ever done them before?

he specializes in mazdas but he is and incredible mechanic. he works on my dad's nissan all the time and my moms miata. i've seen several nissans in his shop so i'd trust him. i already bought my smic and intake kit, got the full smic for 132.00 and got the intake hardpipe kit for 125 from apexi. now all that's left is the sr20 radiator and swap the fan from my ka to the sr.

Im pretty sure you can use your stock radiator, you just have to extend hoses. But a Koyo looks mucho nice
