when i step on the gas.. it kinda lags for a second before it actually accelerates... what can it be??

I believe there was a technical bulletin for the '02s concerning the electronic throttle and delayed response. There's a dealer fix for it.

It applies to a certain rainge of early 2002 MY VIN. THe TSB is posted a couple of times in the previous posts. The seminal post is by JasonB.

If it has been applied to your car, it will show on the Infiniti dealer service history you obtained before you had the pre-purchase inspection performed by the senior Infiniti technician.
