ok i plan to control my fuel pressure by running a rising rate fuel pressure regulator. as most of you know, it adjusts your fuel pressure by how much boost it senses. my question is what size of ratio to use. they come anywhere from 4:1 to 12:1 im not sure which ratio to use. i plan to run anywhere from 7-10 psi. i havent decided on how much boost yet. i have found out on here that stock injectors max out after about 7psi of boost. i have read on the forums about someone running a 10:1 ratio with a 255 lph walbro pump and his afr (air to fuel ratio) was fine. but then i also read about people ranting on about formulas and some of them say that 4:1 is the best and others say that 8:1 is ideal. ok so here is what i have. a Garrett t3 turbo that has an a/r of .48. i read up and found out that there are several different garrett t3s and i know that mine is the m27 version. i do not know what car it came off of for sure or any more of the specs of the turbo. but i believe its off of a Saab. if anyone has any specs on this particular turbo or know what size of regulator i should i use, any info would be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance.

8:1 is perfect, anything else is simply to rich. Also, you'll need ignition retard at anything over 8psi.

Agreed, but the adjustable ones are nice for an added level of comfort. Get yourself a wideband in any event though. This will eventually not be enough, and you will want something else. Emanage is cheap and pwns SAFC!
