question about a 240sx hatchback 1990

Hello my name is tyler and i am curious wat is the cheapest way to improve my 240sx hatchback besides air filter any other like tacking stuff off that sort of thing not weight reduction though, i just got my 240sx 2 days ago it needs a new passenger side door me and my dad are going to fix the fenders and try to fix the back quarter panel but heres pix its amazing though it is a 5 speed and this baby has so much potential i got it for 500 nothing wrong with motor but it needs new shocks its alitlle spongy moves a bit but here are some pics
