question about 82 lights on tail bed

my tail lights are ok but one of them is all bent up should i build custom light fixtures to add that extra look my stepp bumper is bent to so i could build custom lights and a bumper? and on the front i want to make a fiberglass wrap any thoughts on that?

i think i'd have to see what you want to do with the lights to really understand it... as far as the wrap up front... be careful cause you don't want it to look ghetto or 'ricey'

the front end of these trucks look pretty good if you just bring them closer to the ground... no real need for fiberglass

If you use an 85 stone shield on the front of your 82 and lower it, not much else is needed for great looks except good paint. Its hard to make custom tail lights for the 80-83 as the lights are so slim and so low, its hard to see.

wat is a stone shield? i have an 85, and want a custom front rolpan kinda the same idea as this guy too! but mine will be metal, due to the weather...

The piece under the front bumper between the fenders, is what we call a stone shield as it saves the radiator from road debris. I think you guys call it the valance.

so i have an 85, what would it look like with out the front bumper? good, or bad?

so a 85 stone shield should i check junk yards or online?as for lights i think i can do kinda how the flatbed lights are im thinking about building a solid back bumper with lights in it. What do you think about some thing like that?

if i ever did any kind of racing i think i would do rally or 1/4 mile drag racing

A lot of trucks have lights in the bumper. There are some original step bumpers that have the reverse light only in them. Its just that the lights in the bumper does not look natural.

i think i figured out what im gonna do with the tail lights im gonna do the bumper and make it flat with the back of my truck i was thinking about new led round trailer lights but not sure yet i might get some new rear tail lights from ebay for my type of truck and make it to where i can install those into the bumper not sure yet but gimme some more feedback
