Why not? I'm doing it. It's 350z track version rotors to be exact.zerothread?id=276712

It's been around for years. SPL used to sell a kit, but discontinued. Still there are some places making brackets. I've seen Evo Brembo calipers on s14 and Porsche calipers on s13.

yeah its doable. i got some JSK innovations brackets to fit 30mm calipers to the track rotors which are 28.5mm. the track rotor has a small space right next to where the hub is that makes it a little bit larger than the 300zx rotor. the STI brakes are the same thing as 350z and the evo are 32mm so they are a bit bigger

if you look in the ebay stores or in 300zx you will find them more often then searching in 240sx

According to JSK, 300zx and 240sx brackets are slightly different. Not sure about other brackets, but JSK brackets are not compatible.

The problem that people who only want BIG diameter discs seem to neglect is that when you use any rotors larger than 11.8" or so, you actually lose a portion of pad contact area. That is, the outer circumference of the rotor is large enough, that it pushes the caliper out beyond the arc it was designed to work at, leaving a part of the brake pads hanging over the edge of the rotor. Going with something like a 12.5" rotor leaves you with a good percentage of the pads not even on it...So there is such a thing as going too big as far as rotors are concerned with the oem nissan 4 pot calipers. All those kits that allow you to run those calipers with huge, 12"+ rotors are usually just for looks, as they will not provide any better braking than a well-designed brake setup utilizing a rotor no larger than 11.8"

I remember now. Yeah, SPL gave you extra washers, and that was how you shim them differently.
