Hi everyone. I just recently sold my nissan rogue and I'm looking to buy a used infiniti. I really like the design of the 2007-2008 infiniti g35 or the infiniti g37. I've been looking around craiglist and found this car, infiniti g25x with 28k miles on it. The seller is asking 19k OBO. Its a bit out of my budget (around 15k) and I don't know if its a good car or not. My question is: is it a good car to buy and how much should I negotiate with the seller? It seems like he got this car for sale for almost a month. What should I look for when buying this car? Please help me out with this, thank you!

FWIW check with a local Infiniti dealer on how much they charge for a through check of the vehicle as well as providing a history of the VIN number. Any deficiencies found can be negotiated to lower the price with the seller.
Probably not selling so quickly because the G25 is no more.

Good luck

Hi. Actually I've tried to contact the seller but seems like he's not willing to work on the price with me. That's why I decided to move on. I've found a really nice 2007 Infiniti g35x with 93k miles on it. The seller's asking 11k9 for it and he told me that he bought it off of the someone's lease on 2009 and drive it until now. It has clean carfax report and proper maintenance but I'm thinking that the price is a bit too high. Should I pull a trigger on it. My only concern is it's 8 years old car and I don't know how long should it last if I treated it right with regular oil change and parts replacement if needed? will it serve me well for another 40-50k miles without any major repair? this is the link for his post, the car looks very clean ins and outs

Check Kelly Blue Book for pricing on the '07. It's a good car and if it's been properly maintained then it should last way past 40-50k....just get as much info on the maintenance as you can.
