Question about 2003-2004 G35 radio

I have a 2003 infiniti g35 and my radio has died on it. I've seen the problem described on another page in the forum. http://forums.g35club.org/zerothread?id=209762

My question is this: are the 2003-2004 infiniti g35 radio units interchangeable? Would I be able to use a 2004 radio in my 2003?

The are not interchangeable. You should repair the original unit you currently have, or purchase the same model unit.

03 and 04 Head units should be the same.
