ok....i just bought an e-mance and whenever i tired to hook it up to my car it would never read my ECU so i email the guy that i bought it from and asked him why it wouldn't read it. He told me i might have a bad ECU so i must check my fuse and my ECU. I check my fuse and it is fine but how do i check my ECU if it is ok? please help

I emailed him too, I have an '89. he said that some '89 ECU didn't have the data link. Also I could swap out the ECU with one from a Stanza, which would work and supposedly has better maps in it.

Yeah it appears that early model s13's won't work, but I'm determined to get it to work, he said I could send it back for a refund. but I'd rather keep it. For when/IF I get another 240sx.
