Question about 100k/6yr Warranty

So I just got home from putting 1k down to reserve an altimacoupe for 26k. No where did I see or talk about a 100k/6yr warranty. Is it possible to still get it? How does this work?IS it added on the contract & price or a separate 'bill'. What does this 100k/6yr warranty cover and is it worth it? Someonein the thread about him getting a new car mentioned getting thiswarranty as well. Then I remembered me and the dealer never talkedabout any warrany during our negotiation.

When the car is delivered in 2 months tops I will put 2k more to make a 3kdown payment and we will figure out the financing/apr crap. So is it possibleto still get a warranty or does it come with 1? I'm so confused

New car warranty would be included. A wonderfull piece of mind. Not sure what you lenght of coverage is 100k/6yr sounds normal for powertran. bump2bump should be less. Performing the regular mainainence suggested by dealer/manufactuar will protect you warranty and often time keep you in good with them so when that dreaded time of expiration when everything fails (see Murphys Law) often dealers will extend a goodwill coverage as long as your not 2 far out of expiration. Extended warranty covers your ride as things come out of coverage from the manufactuars warranty, Often a great thing to consider for used vehicles. I have one for my own 99 altima.

Talk with the dealer and they can explain in better detail as to what is covered and for how long. A competant service dept. will know more about your plan and warranty work still puts bread on their table!

I got the 6yr 100k mile Mastertech Elite warranty when I bought my 2k2. It was rolled into the financed amount. Was around $1500.00. I've already had more than 4k worth of work done under warranty incl. a new engine just last week.(due to broken Catalytic Converter pieces getting sucked into the engine)Totally recommended.
