I just recieved my aero kit from Riverside Infinity, and i noticed that there are clips located all over the kit and some areas are 3m tape, Do i have to drill whole in my bumper?? I really dont want to put any in this car if not required..

Can anyone give me any input on what they did..

Personally I wouldn't trust an aero kit to stay in place with just the 3M tape. A spoiler might be one thing but you have increased vertical force on the side sills and the front and rear lip. Also, on a hot summer day in the sun the 3M tape does loose some of its adhesive properties.

I finished installing my aero kit on my M35 last night. It takes some time. In my case it took me one Sunday and an entire Friday night. The job requires being detailed oriented as you will be drilling your bumpers. The good news is your kit must have come with all the instructions and with paper patterns that will show you where to do the drilling. when I say "Detailed Oriented" look over and over and make sure the paper patterns are in the right place. If you drill the bumper on the wrong place that's it. your bumper is not gonna look nice. The drilling for the clips has to be done as the 3m 2ble back tape is not gonna hold the bumper. On the positive side the job is not rocket science and you will save big bucks by not having the dealer do it. At the end it is worth it my car look much better with the kit on. The kit sets it apart from the others on the freeway. I do not have pics yet I am waiting 24 hrs to let the 3m tape set so I can wash my car; pics then. By the way how much did you pay for your aero kit at Infinity of Riverside?

good luck and let me know if you have any questions.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you guys pay for your kits? I was thinking about getting an OEM aero kit. I really love the Impul and Kenstyle body kits, but for where I live, I think the OEM kit would be better.

There are so many inconsiderate people in NYC.

I paid $1300 for the OEM kit and had it shipped directly to a local body shop. They installed it in 3 hours for $400. Looks great.

I paid about $1,300 at Infiniti of Cerritos. They actually charge $1,800 for everything parts and labor for the Aero Kit. In my case I did it my self and save ton of money. I'd recomend in this case do it your self or taking your car to the dealer. The difference between dealer and a body shop the guys are talking about is only $100. When talking about other kind of kits there are two things that make me go for the OEM Kit, Price and material. Other kits run for about $ 3,000 and they are made of Fiber Glass. We all know of the disadvantages of fiber glass. For these reason I chose the OEM aero kit for my M35.

You are welcome!!! I am sure your M35 is gonna look awesome. Another positive thing about the OEM I forgot to mentioned is the color. The OEM kit comes painted and the paint is factory matched...you can't ask for anything else. Good luck where ever your travels might take you.

If you don't mind me asking, did the $1100 include the rear trunk spoiler?

Thanks!
