question 4 90-96 with aftermarket alarm

the question is... when you hit your button to unlock your doors, does the key hole light light up??? the green lit ring around the lock. like the newer 3 series bmw's, i want to put an led under my door handle so it lights up when i hit the unlock button. its just so damn hard to get wires in the factory door to frame wiring harness, this would make it so much easier. or if it doesnt, does anybody know an easy way to pass wires through the stock harness. i really dont want to drill if i dont have to. but if i do, what lights on the car do light up.thanks for any info.

Yes, my keyhole lights up when the alarm is disarmed. Not that I ever use it though since at that point the doors are unlocked anyways.

Its easy, Set the alarm to turn on interior lights (dome light, use relay), You'll notice on each door, theres going to be a courtesey light inside on the door panel that lights up. run wire from that in the door panel to whatever LED you want to use.

So technically, the door courtesey light inside the car, wire your LED to that, since its already in the door. When your alarm dis-arms, and turns the interior lights on, the LED under yoru handle will turn on.
