Question: 1979 Datsun 510 / Nissan Violet 160j(?)

I have a question about the US Model 1979 Datsun 510 ( I believe this was the 160j, Nissan Violet in other markets).

Does anyone know if this vehicle had independent rear suspension? The particular one I am looking at is a 4-door, if that helps.

yup.

the only US model to get a solid axle was the wagon...wait...'79....I dunno about that one...it might.

lemme get back to ya on that one.
