I'm not sure this is the best forum, but the steering lock is a security feature, so I thought I'd give it a try.

My 2011 Quest is having steering lock issues, I think. The car will turn to accessory more, but when I try to start, I just hear a clicking noise and the little red key indicator goes on. All lights work but the side doors don't. Also, my toddler was pretend driving yesterday immediately before the car wouldn't start--I don't know if that's a factor.

Anyway, I read that pre-midyear 2011 Quests can have steering lock issues, and that a fix is to tap the lock until it disengages and then to just pull the fuse. Well, I went to track down the fuse (didn't bother with the lock yet) just to see if it was easy to spot, and it's already been removed. Any other ideas?
