Hello guys I got couple questions about 99 q45 owners. Is the rear seats comfortable for long trips? how reliable is the car compared to Lexus LS400.

The 3rd gen aka Y33 from what i hear is very reliable. Only major issue ever that i have heard about is the coil packs failing. I would take a Q over the LS400 but it depends on mileage, history, etc.

thank you sir. I also have another question is this only q45 forum that helps out the community? Also, what after-market suspension do q45 aka(y33) carry and body kits?

The rear setts is comfortable and the car are relighable. Coil packs are great up until the motor shakes at a red light. Then they are crap. Expensive crap. Till then, sublimimination prevails.

Not sure on the body kits. I would post in the VIP section. I know theres a few. IDK if this is the only forum on the Q but i know its one of if not THE largest out there. Junction produce maybe? i think they were bigger on the G50 and F50 oldest and newest Q's. Try the search?

Your car is only going to be as reliable as the maintenance history in the past. I have had an RSX with 60K miles that had one problem after another, all related to not being maintained. I had an Accord with 180K miles that never gave me a problem. On the Y33, seems to be coil packs and knock sensors that cause the most issues. Everything else seems very well built.

As for body kits. There are a LOT of them. Problem is, most are special order only, and will take 2-3 months to get them. Little research should net you some direction in that direction.
