Quasi-Meet in Cincy

So, we were talking about this a tad in the other thread, but I wanted to put it out there so everyone can be aware of it. We were just planning on having a little get together at the BW3's on Colerain Avenue down here in Cincinnati on December 3rd. I've personally never been to a meet so I'm not exactly sure what all that entails. Everyone seemed to lean towards the BW3's idea because there are not a lot of indoor places to gather around here. This particular B-dubs in a fairly large restaurant with a large parking lot. So, I'll be there if nothing else. Email me if you want directions. Hope to see a few of you there and meet some of my extended Nissan/Infiniti family!

Still sounds good to me. If there's not a lot of space there, we can always go to Dave and Buster's instead. Play some driving games head to head. I've never been to a meet either, so hopefully it won't be odd.

Ok, I know this is really lame, but can this be held off till next weekend or maybe tomorrow if ya'll are still interested? I never heard anything back from anyone and just figured no one wanted to come down, so now I have this big family to-do. I sincerely apologize to those who were coming, especially those folks from Indy. I just hope they check the forum before they leave. I'm so lame... I really wanted to meet people and hope I didn't piss anyone off...

That sounds good. I got stuck fixing my cousins Saturn today anyway. Any thoughts on moving it to Dave and Buster's? More room in there and right off I-275.

You guys are awesome... Dave and Buster's sounds just as good to me and it is a bit easier to find for those coming from out of town. Thanks Wes for plugging it to your people. You're so sweet! That'll really help. And I don't care what kind of family thing is going on this time; I've got other family to see.

The 17th or the 18th... It makes no difference to me. It's going to be crowded out that way no matter what because it is right by the mall. Let's just say Saturday for now. I'll jot down some directions here in a sec and post them. It's really easy.

Dave and Buster's11775 Commons DriveSpringdale, OH 45246

From Indy starting at 74 E:On 74 for approx. 88 miles then merge onto I-275 by staying to the left.On I-275 for approx. 14 miles then take the OH-747 - exit 42. Turn right onto 747 and get into the inside lane for half a mile.Turn left onto E. Kemper Road staying in inside lane for a quarter of a mile.Turn left onto Commons Drive, drive around to the front of the mall and if you miss it, you're blind.

From Louisville/Lexington starting at 71 N:Take 71 N till you merge onto 75 N around Florence, KY. Stay on 75 N through downtown Cincinnati.Take the Sharon Road - exit 15 - toward Glendale by turning left onto E. Sharon Rd for a quarter of a mile.Turn right onto Chester Road for 1 mile.Turn left onto E. Kemper Road for half a mile.Then turn right onto Commons Drive, drive around the mall and look for the giant sign.

From Dayton starting at 75 S:Take 75 S and merge onto I-275 W by taking Exit 16.Take the OH-747 - exit 42A - toward Sringdale/Glendale for about a mile.Turn left onto E. Kemper Road for half a mile.Then turn left onto Commons drive and run into everyone else wandering around in the parking lot.

From Columbus starting at 71 S:Take 71 S and merge on to I-275 W by taking exit 17B for 5 miles.Take the Mosteller Road - exit 44 - and turn left onto Mosteller Road for a quarter of a mile.Turn right onto E. Kemper Road for 1.5 miles.Turn right onto Commons Drive, drive around the mall, blah, blah, blah...

Ok, that should cover everybody. I don't know if we need a specific time to meet or what. I can be there whenever. You all let me know when you plan on being there.

Ok people, I'm just checking to see if anyone is really coming down and if so, what time? I have to replace the windshield washer solvent reservior and install a new cd player on Saturday morning and need to know what kind of time frame I'm working with. wasnt able to round up any of the indy guys... none of the louisville guys can come due to the games this weekend, plus being so cloes to the holidays.. I dont think im going to make it down, but lets definitely plan on doing something after christmas!!!!

I can't make it. I have to try and not get shot while delivering food to people in a bad part of town. Corner of Race and Elder if you know where that is.

Lisa and I were thinking that we should wait until we can get more people. As it stands only 3 or 4 of us will be there. So let us reschedule for a later date. After Christmas would probably be best for everybody. Early January mabye?

Yeah, it looks like no one will be able to go again. Oh well, I guess that's what I get trying to fit too much in. Christmas time is just too busy. No big deal, we'll just do something after the holidays. But it's not going to be me trying to organize this time. I keep jinxing the whole thing. And OTR is not a good place to be! Kind of dangerous... Be careful!

I'm glad I stopped back home before heading out there. After Christmas sounds fine. Maybe I can pin-point that mysterious fuel leak. Haven't blown up yet, so that's good.

I wish I did know. I drive past there often on my way to Cleveland. That would be nice to take some runs on the course, or even watch a race.
