I forgot to mention there is a slight altitude discrepency. Supposedly you are supposed to take 0.97 of the ET, but that still makes him slow as hell.RED_DET wrote:Looks like to me, your bro needs to learn how to drive. I pulled a 14.4 @99mph in my sedan with just pop charger. THat was my first and only pass I have ran in the car. Crappy 60ft to boot, give me some seat time in the car or drag radials and I will drop in the 13's.
My bro said the fastest NA g35 barely broke 13's...RED_DET wrote:Looks like to me, your bro needs to learn how to drive. I pulled a 14.4 @99mph in my sedan with just pop charger. Maybe it is now, but not when it was originally designed. In Japan, the g35 is the skyline and the only reason they stuck an infiniti label on it was for marketing purposes, otherwise it would have been a nissan. The best and clearest example of the original intent of the car being more sports than class and luxury is the first year it came out, 03 model. The interior of that year sucked crap and, at that time, it was just a slow skyline.johnmully wrote:Exactly my point! Hey people the Infiniti G35 is a luxury sports coupe!!! It has room for four (well 2+2small people) It has a superb fit an finish it is engineered by the best to be the best all around!!! If you want a quarter mile time, sell it and buy a 350z, or one of those american pieces of crap like the gto! Motor trend car of the year in 03! I get more compliments about my car everyday like gorgeous an beautiful. It's black baby! Put a supercharger in it or a turbo kit, wider tires and then time it. Who really gives a **** what the quarter is anyway? It's fast now and sounds amazing! Sure it's not a supra or a gtr but it is classier than those. When you buy a g35 your talking either a bmw 3 series, audi a4, lexus, acura or a cheap mercedes. All of which are classy cars not track cars. I love my car and it's fast enough right now. In a year or two I will make it seriously faster.
Yes, it is a Skyline. For years the Skyline has been more than the GT-R. For years they have had non-turbo models and sedan models. These new V35's are no different. The GT-R is made to be the beast not the GT-S's, which is what we all have. If my memory serves me correct a single turbo GTS-T is a little over 200hp, hmmm, what are we running. Do the math. So, the way you are trying to mock the G35 (V35) as being slower than past models is unjust.yelnatsch517 wrote:
