I'm just curious if any Z owners ever take a trip down to the track and if so what is your best 1/4 mile time?

14.5's were about my best, i timed it on maybe 4 runs. I ran 15.1 on a bad launch hehe.

Bad track conditions? Thats around or higher than stock 2k2+ Maxima 6sp times.

just stock, my rims are heavy with a huge lip. 14.5 was my best. I am anxious to see what i get next weekend, because i have the invidia true dual exhaust on the way, with aps test pipes. Going to install it next thurs, then track friday.

So, you had heavier aftermarket wheels? That could explain it.

Damn I really wish more people would chime in on this because I really want to know how my car stands in terms or 1/4 mile with the rest of the Z's on this board

Yeah i have the stern 19 inch staggered rims, 3.5 inch lip in the rear, 2.5 up front. Also I am in el paso TX, messed up elevation here the air sucks for track times.

I'd guiestimate mine in the high 13 range.
