Can anyone tell me exactly how many quarts of oil is required to fill the G-35 Coupe 6MT transmission and its differential?

When I talk about quarts, I mean those transmission bottle they seel in autozone stores. I am going to change my fluids this week.

Also, any impact for using a GL 5 in both transmission and differential? The manual asks for GL5 in differential and GL 4 in transmission.

I can't seem to find GL 4 in Synthetic form. Dealership says synthetic oil is what is what they use in their transmission and diff. I can only find 75W-90 in Synthetic form. I can't find 80W-90 as recomended in the manual.

Is the diff and transmission for 350Z the same as that for the G-35 Coupe?

Thanks.

I don't know why they didn't put that info in the manual, unless maybe they don't wany an owner doing it. I'd go to Infiniti and buy it from them just to keep them from claiming you put something in your car that contributed to a part failure if you need warranty saervice. If you were out of warranty it would be a different matter.

See page MA10 in the shop manual.

The manual transmission calls for 3 1/8 qts or 2.9 liters genuine Nissan Manual Trensmission fluid HQ Multi 75w-85 or API GL4 SAE 75w-85 or 75w-90

The differential capacity is 1 3/8 pt in the front and 3 pints in the rear APL GL5 SAE 80w-90
