so, my front rotors are pretty warped, and something coming from the front of my car is making a high pitched horrible screeching groaning noise when i start moving. eventually with enough braking and hitting up of the wheel area it goes away. so i thought my calipers were locked up. greased the pinsa and everything looked dandy. didn't do nuttin'. so i just purchased new blank brembo front rotors w/ abs (like my car).

-what i'm asking is, anyone know how good these things are? how they will help my braking. what can i expect from these? i paid 100$ for the front pair, shoot me back with some responses.

p.s. i'm trying to find hawk brake pads to go along with the new rotors and some steel brake lines but i can't find any 89-93 240sx hawk fronts w/ abs.

They're just like OEM rotors. Brembo makes them instead of being OEM. No added performance. I guess they're quality peices with a respected name.

theyre no good stickwith oem.

ricers and others think its all good because of the brand name. i also did the same and bought/warped a set. my friends also have experienced them.

stay away from the "zinc coated" over the rotors surface. zinc over the area brake pads dont come in contact is ok to prevent rust.

do you do heavy braking? like autox/circuit? if not oem pads are good enough. dont need stainless brake lines either unless you are running with lots of heat or yours are going put that 100 bucks into really good compound brake pads instead.

i would've suggested 180sx/q45/altima/maxima used calipers/rotors though + some good pads. lots of guys have 180sx brakes from their front clips.
