Ok, well, couple of responses to my previous question, so after a ton of reading I am pretty sure that it's the MAF causing my problem, since after it's initial cleaning the performance got better.
So here's my question: Some people are stating to use an OEM MAF rather than aftermarket? I have spent the better part of the day reading about this model and the thousands of complaints that people have about the OEM MAF. Seems like Nissan has had a problem with them since day one, and that they have had a higher than normal failure rate (some failing after just a few hundred miles). So unless they (Nissan) have changed something, I don't see what the advantage is of buying another one of their high-priced OEM's for this? It just doesn't make sense. It appears as though the OEM MAF has plagued these cars since their inception. So unless Nissan has actually changed them so that they work better, why not buy aftermarket for a mere fraction of the price? I can buy as many as 8 aftermarkets for the price of 1 OEM. So has Nissan finally fixed something with their MAF's, or are they still just selling the same thing that's been driving everyone nuts???
I have seen a lot of people state that they used an aftermarket MAF with great results, but no one ever posts what brand they purchased or where they got it. Any suggestions???
