Quad Exhaust Question????

Ok guys so this is my next mod before Carsile

Im buying this "ebay" Borla Exhaust however I dont like the 4.5" tips so Im going to cut them off and have these tips welded on.

So my questions is what would be a resonable price to have the old tips cut off and the new ones welded on???? Ive been told anywhere from $100-300

Plus how hard is the install could I do that by myself???

$200-$300 sounds about right. U should b able to bolt it on easily. If not, have some shop do it for $40-$60 bucks.

lol $100 to $300? your joking right? I got my tips welded on for $40. they wanted $60 and I told them I'd give them $40.... anything more then $60 is a rip off. also, if you go quad tips they might not clear the spot in the rear diffuser and you may have to cut your rear diffuser like I did.

the first couple pics are when I was in the middle of cutting the rear diffuser so they look kind of bad. I straightened them out and everything so you cant even tell I cut it.... I still have the 2 fins I cut-off and someday I'm going to go to a body shop and have them put back on.

those are the porsche tips? i was thinking about gettin them but i dont know how theyd look...

lol well mine arnt really corvette parts. their just some aftermarket tips my brother had on his corvette. I saw the same exact tips at my local muffler shop when I was getting mine put on.
