My friend just told me about this cutout. Has anyone tried this before. It looks like a really good idea for people who dont like loud exhausts all the time. The only downside is that its not legal but who cares right

This has been discussed before. They leak.

You may want these instead. Cheaper and don't leak.http://store.summitracing.com/...w=sku

You might need a shop to put it on. Depends on your skill. Also your placement would determine which diamater cutout you should get. The exhaust is 3in before that it is 2.5 in.

Open headers on our cars will not sound good...it's not like a Chevy small block.

Ive done it. It sounds like a violent honda, only deeper. It keeps cracking well after you rev it. You will piss off alot of neighbors. Kinda funny to drive around with for awhile just for those "WTF?!?!" looks though.
