I think you may be thinking of the japanese trim levels. They came in letters like that referencing cards (Queen, king, etc). It has no bearing on your car, provided its USDM. Welcome to nico!

"Aero" variants of the Q's and K's were offered that featured large rear wings and mild ground effects.

The S14 Silvia K's received a new version of the SR20DET, boasting a slight bump in power due to the implementation of Nissan's variable valve timing system, VTC, and a larger T28 turbocharger.

^^^^

Above taken form Wikipedia.com......you could have searched.

To get more specific info do some more searching.

Q's-N/A sr20de engine-Power options-LSD

K's-Turbocharged sr20 engine-All of the above

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong but that is the information that I know of, and I hope I helped.

I think they came with the differing trim levels and models. I have no idea specifically though.

Not sure, but I think it has to do with the color of the car.... Just an idea.

I have a white JDM hood that came with a green emblem...... maybe we can collect some info on that.

I might be wrong but i don't think that the hood emblem's colors mean anything. I think that they were just for style. I may be wrong though.

I thought that one color is for Q's and the other one K's. There is even black ''S'' emblem too.

Well, I searched quite a bit and it seems as though Wikipedia actually has the

most info on the subject....Also this thread is on the first page of the Google

search "Silvia trim levels"...

With that said, there are 4 different colored Silvia hood badges:

3 K's:

2 Q's

K's and Q's emblems are for the sides, behind the doors. They denote trim level, engine, etc. (color is trim and letters are engines). S emblem in front also denotes trim level.

Since the SE was a USDM option, the correct hood badge would be the nissan logo. The S stands for Silvia, and since over here the car is a 240sx, there is no special hood ornament.

Ok thanks for that. So what would be the closest because I want to put Silvia badging on my 1996 SE and i want to know what would be the appropriate color for the front hood "s"?

the color of the badge isnt going to matter, it's not like its gonna be a silvia anyway.

I highly doubt that there was a difference, just options for different color cars.

Searching showed that the colors of the trunk badges had no relevance....

But the Zenki s14 had a decal in the middle or badge on the right

Kouki had a badge but on the left.... I may have it mixed up but IIRC that's how it went

What decal?? Are you sure is on the right side? Because I've seen it on the left side.
