I was hoping that I could get a few questions up and then maybe later they can make a sticky or something out of the answers. I want to know more about the engine dimentions and specifications for the VQ engines, mostly the VQ25DD, the VQ30DET, and the VQ30DE. but also any others. id like to know bore and stroke, rod length, compression ratio, timing chain/belt, what cars they came in, and maximum RPM.

I know the 25DD and 30DET are nippon only so a little help maybe from some of the guys from the spooky mountain maybe?

as far as I know the VQ30DE was only offered in the95 to 01 Maxima/I30's . at least in the US market. The earlier max had a VE30DE and all the other V6's in the line up were labels VG until the VQ35 came out in 02 in the cars or early 01 in the pathfinder/QX4.

I have the VQ30DET engine service manual at the lab, I don't think it has VQ25 or 20 data though and Nissan won't sell me the VQ30DE manual.
