first id like to say that this forums is awsome and that i have learned alot by reading what is posted here. I have been searching around this forums for months now (just registered recently hehe) learning about 240s and deciding which to get.
on to the car, well this is my first car ever and im really excited about it. Well honestly ever since i watched Initial D and playing GT3 i have been insterested in RWD cars. I am recently going to get my license (have permit at the moment) and with that came a car. Now i know some people might say "omg another newb who is gunna try to drift and then crash and ruin it for everyone" but im not stupid...i am not going to even think about doing anything crazy until i get a good feel for the car and its behaviors.
I got this car for about 2300 which it thought was a good deal. It has very minimal exterior damage (none that u can see only under the car) and the engine runs strong. the only problem is that the clutch was leaking (fixed now) and the power steering is also leaking but everything else runs perfectly. it has 195K miles on it but the car runs strong anyways.
well onto the questions...
The shocks/brakes/rotors/ all have to be replaced and i am wondering what would be good products that would give me the best bang for my buck.
I am low on money so i dont want any real major performance parts (KYB adjustables are not under my price range = )
what would be a good shocks/struts ?what would be a good brake pads also ?
