From what i've heard you're good until 13psi or so...then you get into the "red zone"but until that 13+psi, your golden kid...i'd stay with the QR25, its been really good to me....

Yeah, if done properly (and, most importantly, tuned correctly), a turbo QR will be fine. Definitely less complicated than swapping an SR.

10 psi from a t25. Is much different than 10 psi from a t70.My advice stick with your are if there is a complete kit made for it, don't cheap out. And buy a wideband O2. Get it professionally conservatively tuned and you'll be good.

They're not as strong as the SR but with good parts and proper tuning, its usable and reliable. I wouldn't go past 15 PSI though. :dblthumb:

The QR's weak points are their rods...they're really thin compared to other engines, but thankfully there's aftermarket ones out there now, along with lower compression pistons if you want to go all out. When I boost mine I'm playing it safe and doing meth injection.

Make sure you have a good tune and do everything properly and you will be fine. Youtube some turbo qr's, they move.

Side Note: Last year when I brought my son to the track, met a guy with a Turbo VQ in his Spec...the thing was beast.

Yeah stick with the QR, i even have a weaker QR (Altima Coupe). And it's fine with my eBay turbo setup lol @7psi.

sr20det is nice, but wouldn't be worth it unless you had an 00-01 SE.

The QR can handle 9psi daily, should be hitting ~300whp, and not giving much problems. The tune is the most important thing though. Uprev is a really nice option, but apexi neo and safcII are pretty common as well.

Heck I've seen 11psi, and one guy with 14psi DD. A little riskier imo with stock internals, but been done.
