Q70 Caller ID only shows phone number

I recently purchased a 2015 Infiniti Q70S AWD. I have connected my iPhone 6 Plus without any issues and my contacts all appear in the phone book on my NAV screen, but when I receive a call it just shows the phone number and doesn't display the name of the person in my contacts. I have tried removing the phone and pairing it again, but keep getting the same results. I have also selected the Download Phone book button in the settings menu. Am I missing something? Any suggestions?

My '11 does the same, believe it is designed that way. Have you looked in the Owner's Manual to see if it mentions anything?

The picture used in the manual appears to only show the phone number in "XXXXX..." format for receiving a call. Only for the phone book does it show two lines.

I too only get the phone number for incoming calls but I have not uploaded my phones phone book so i'm not sure if it should work any differently.

Could it be just Iphones?
I have a Note 4 and it does show the name of the person calling

i have android phone in 2013 it shows the name of the caller

I have an 11 and the name pops up on mine as well.

I forced my car to download the phone contacts a week or two ago. My Android pops up the name as well (LG G4 running Lollipop - Android 5.1), HOWEVER, when I actually try to use the vehicle phone book after download it is completely BLANK. Not sure how that works...I have to initiate ALL calls from my phone as the cars address book is empty.

Galaxy 5.name comes up on ingoing and outgoing

Just got my Q70 this week and was frustrated as to why the contact name didn't appear on incoming calls. I figured it out. You have to make sure in your phone contacts that you have a 1 in front of the phone number. If you don't the car doesn't match the number to the contact name. I added the 1 and it shows for me. I had to join to let you know since it's very annoying. Otherwise an awesome car!
