Not sure what you're getting at. You can make any car have 1,000hp with enough work. And the Corvette motor is not, nor has it ever been put in a suburban. There are several variants to the LSX platform. Touching on some of your other posts, the dealer can't tune your car. You'd have to contact an UpRev dealer and have them do it.myother45isalesbaer wrote:I looked up the Q50 big deal red. Its a go cart. Optioned out you might as well buy the Q70. Its not that much more. I like to see Infiniti Ads on TV taking on BMW. Having owned both, I would much more have the Infiniti. I can't tell one BMW from another anymore. Too many badges. My brother was driving my Q the other day and a big corvette motor driven Suburban tried to take him out. We were laughing so hard. Put a corvette motor in a school bus and try to take my Q on. It was good for a laugh. If I put twin turbos on my V8 I'd probably be pushing 1,000 hp. Where do I get such turbos?
WAT? Why?myother45isalesbaer wrote:I never drive in sport mode. It always set to regular.
put it in sport modemyother45isalesbaer wrote: Well to be completely honest, my Q does not feel right in the seat of my pants.
you scratched up 60g to buy this car but can not figure out how to do a burn out?????Infinitiq70 wrote:I try to do a burnout on my q70 5.6 lots of power but I can't burn out as soon as I accelerate it reduces power from engine and tires are catching grip someone pls explain to me thanks
Did you cut and paste that from the LS wiki page? The LS6 changes were just some small but decent improvements to the already great LS1 design. It was the heads and cam that made the power difference. LS7 is quite different and does not share any parts, except maybe exhaust manifolds. LS1/6 is considered gen 3 and LS2/3/7/9 are gen 4. Many little things will interchange but not the same engine. Also the LS6 was in older CTS-V's, LSA is what is in 09 and up.jmissile wrote:The cts has in essence a built and boosted Ls1 engine. The ls7 today and old ls1's basically share the same block architecture just other changes were made to the design such as windows cast into the block between cylinders, improved main web strength and bay to bay breathing, an intake manifold and MAF-sensor with higher flow, a camshaft with higher lift and more duration, a higher compression ratio of 10.5:1, sodium filled valves, and a revised oiling system better suited to high lateral acceleration.[3] LS6 intake manifolds were also used on all 2001+ LS1/6 engines.
The LS is a great engine but not refined at all compared to the VK. LS is pushrod OHV, VK is DOHC, direct inject, variable intake and timing. The reason the LS has more potential is because the VK is already finely tuned from the factory, not a lot left on the table. The LS however, is made for drivability and leaves a lot for the end user to do. Full bolt ons make a nice difference already, plus a heads and cam swap will easily give 500 or more at the wheels, all while getting good gas mileage.jmissile wrote:So if remember correctly, the first c5 zo6's with the ls6 were 5.7L and very similar in capacity to our v8, so fast forward about 15yrs and gm has refined the Ls platform to a level that our vk engines will pathetically have to wait for probably another decade at least if we're lucky enough that they don't stop putting v8 's in Q's altogether.
Let's keep it civil folks.mazz wrote:you scratched up 60g to buy this car but can not figure out how to do a burn out?????Infinitiq70 wrote:I try to do a burnout on my q70 5.6 lots of power but I can't burn out as soon as I accelerate it reduces power from engine and tires are catching grip someone pls explain to me thanks
you amaze me or you are a troll?

True, the V8 will probably stick around for the trucks and SUV's but look at the Ford GT, turbo V6. Corvette has also been toying with the idea for future models. Plus Camaro and Mustang both have added turbo 4's to the line. V8 may not be gone but definitely reduced.myother45isalesbaer wrote:The V8 will never go, unless they give up on getting themselves into Cadillac, BMW and Mercedes territory. Big boy cars have many, many cylinders. Anything below 8 is considered an economy car regardless of the HP it may put out. Big boys like big cars with big pots to fill with gasoline. Why? It must because there is no replacement for cubic displacement. Just look at yesterdays and todays S8's, V8's, V12's and W16's.

You will likely need a custom intake manifold since the Armada had the VK56DE until 2016 which has standard rail injectors, not the VK56VD direct-inject like the M56/Q70/QX80 have had since 2011.PostalsQ wrote:https://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/-p-151 ... oCzrvw_wcB
Roots style supercharger for 5.6 liter Nissan Armada. Same platform as Infiniti 5.6. I'm thinking. Take off your hood. Cut a hole for clearance. Reshape it. ZL1 style or a cowl. You have something very custom.
