Before removing the backing on your emblems, which exposes the adhesive- I dry fit the emblems with blue painters tape.
I “hang” the emblems in place, by applying a small piece of tape on the front of the emblem with the excess tape above the emblem which attaches to the vehicle- so the emblem is hanging in place.
Once you’re happy with the position of the emblem, simply flip the emblem up and remove the backing to expose the adhesive, and flip the emblem back down. Now your emblem is applied, then remove the blue tape.
Hope this makes sense & sorry for not having in any pics to post.
By doing this you can check for fitment, level etc. before you’ve committed to applying the emblem.
