2014 infiniti Q60 convertible

Purchased a new valve body (31705-X359E) from dealership and had a transmission shop install it and car ran perfect for about a week, then a code came on saying ”U01010 pcm did not receive a message from the TCM within a predetermined period of time” and car will not start, no clicking no nothing to start over
Shop has now checked all the wiring etc and nothing has worked. We have called a dozen of Infiniti dealerships and most say the new factory valve body comes plug n play but several say they are not. I can’t find a for sure answer.
do these new valve body’s come pre programmed? Are they plug n play? Wondering if it didn’t come pre programmed is the reason why it’s now not reading the tcm and the car won’t start. If it wasn’t preprogrammed.. how would the car still work perfectly for a week?

It can't. If the VB came unprogrammed the transmission would have failsafed in a middle gear and it would have been obvious there was an issue. Somebody needs to drop the pan and make sure the inside wiring was installed correctly and isn't caught on something, and also make sure the new VB didn't come with factory-defective solder pins. If both of those items are okay, it sounds like the new TCM is defective and they should Parts Warranty the VB.

Not sure if this is considered a fail safe but right before it never start back up… i was Driving and came to a dead stop and whenever I’d push on the gas… it would take a while to get going as if it was struggling to GO.

I was Told that if it was preprogrammed that it would have never would have been able to be used at all, much less did the whole week it ran perfectly.

It’s now at a transmission shop but he can’t seem to find the issue, I’ll have to tell him about the wire issue

That's the sort of behavior you get from a failsafed transmission, and once it gets rolling it will generally over-rev because it's staying in a middle gear. For whatever reason -- wiring, defective VB, whatever -- it sounds like the TCM is incommunicado. It's probably defective. if so, OE Nissan parts all have a 12-month Parts Warranty, so they should just replace it.
