Q50 text messaging problem.

hey everyone,

I have a 2014 Q50 and started the car today and my phone was disconnected and never paired up. So I re-paired the phone and chose not to have my contacts synced, which is what I did last time as well. The phone paired successfully but now text message notification show up on the screen and its quite annoying. It did not ask me if I wanted this or not. I feel like I've looked at every setting yet I still cannot turn off the text message notification. Any help on doing this would be appreciated?
