q50 forward colision prevention

although my forward collision prevention is turned on it does not seem to be working i have tried everything within safety reason. the dealer says i am sure its working but is scared to show me how

the car is brand new the service dept should do it

They probably don't want to be guilty until proven innocent for every car they sell... that being said I think they'd be in a world of s*** if the system failed within the warranty period (when it counts).

I'd try the boxes/foam wall thing yourself and just put the car in drive and creep up on it. Do your sonar/backup sensors work?
