Noice!!! like the body kit - they should offer the front lip/side skirts and rear diffuser body kit as an option for the new models.
I am expecting big things for the Q70!!! At least the same body kit options...

This will probably be put in production and run approximately 125k I'm afraid.

Infiniti should offer the Q70 in that color, the line-up could use something fresh.
Especially if a glass-roof option were available  Anyone know the paint code?

From what I heard, you won't find that in a DuPont paint chip book. :)

It's a custom candy color, which usually means a reflective (gold or silver) base coat, followed by a candy color, and the Eau Rogue paint is set off by a red-tinted clear coat (which is why the paint has so much depth). This gives it multiple layers of reflectivity (the base, the metallic in the color, and the red-infused clearcoat). Pretty impressive stuff.

Infiniti Q50 Eau Rogue to get Godzilla power:

Infiniti’s Q50 Eau Rogue Concept was a rather stunning piece of machinery. Infiniti have now revealed the powertrain for the super-saloon, and we smell more than just a hint of GT-R power in the works.

In fact, the Q50 Eau Rogue will be the 4-door Nissan GT-R you always wanted, featuring Godzilla’s 3.8-litre biturbo V6 engine, tuned to generate 418kW and 600Nm. This will be mated to a 7-speed automatic gearbox and feature full-time all-wheel drive with a 50:50 front-to-rear torque split. This will see the Infiniti Q50 Eau Rogue sprint from 0-100km/h in less than 4 seconds and on to a top speed of 290km/h. See? Nissan GT-R in a suit!

As we’d stated previously, the Q50 Eau Rogue is named after the Eau Rogue high-speed corner at the Spa-Francorchamps race circuit in Belgium. The design is said to take much influence from Formula 1 and from the Infiniti Red Bull Racing team.

The Eau Rogue features a host of bespoke aerodynamic carbon fibre bodywork, and sits lower and wider than the production model Q50. While the appearance may seem to be similar to the production car, almost every panel is custom made for the Eau Rogue, with only the front doors and the arch of the roof pillars retained as standard components. Also aiding the visual aesthetics of the Eau Rogue are 20-inch alloys filling wider arches. The interior of the Q50 ER features a “high-grip steering wheel”, paddle shifters, and carbon fibre, red, and chrome detailing to enhance the sportiness of the concept.

With a wheelbase of 2850mm and an overall length of 4803mm, the Q50 Eau Rogue, should it see production which looks likely at this stage, will feature in the same segment as the M3 and C63 AMG, but with power outputs matching that of the M5 and RS6.

The Q50 Eau Rogue stands to be one of two things – either the most robotized super-saloon we’re yet to encounter, or the most incredible super-saloon of our time. We’re hoping for the latter – and with its gorgeous looks and incredible drivetrain, it could be a game-changer!

Why Infiniti Needs the Q50 Eau Rogue and Needs it Now

The Eau Rogue knocked our socks off at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show . I mean, with Godzilla guts in a four-door luxury sedan , how can you go wrong? With rumblings about the GT-R-powered luxo-rig heading into the "project" phase, according to Infiniti boss Johan de Nysschen, we need to talk about why production must happen and must happen soon.

First of all, Infiniti is finally gaining momentum in the luxury realm that it has never had before. For many years, many luxury buyers turned their noses up at the Infiniti brand as re-badged Nissans , and not on par with BMW , Mercedes and Audi. Now with all of the new goodies rolling out, like the RC F — the entire RC lineup for that matter — the more streamlined naming system, and a distinct line of separation drawn between loaded-out Nissan s and base-level Infinitis, the brand is primed to make a move against upper-level Bimmers and Mercedes. And the Q50 Eau Rogue is the perfect model to take on the M5 and E63 AMG .

Secondly, you finally have a man in charge in Johan de Nysschen who know what the hell he’s doing with a luxury brand. He’s spoken before about de-Americanizing the Infiniti brand, which is precisely what most top-level luxury car buyers want. That’s not a knock on American cars, it’s just that top-level luxury car buyers aren’t shopping at Cadillac ... It was this type of out-of-the-box thinking that allowed de Nysschen to turn the Audi brand into a winner, and the Eau Rogue is a model that vastly de-Americanizes the brand and gives Infiniti the halo car it needs to draw fence-riding buyers into dealers.

Third, it also helps the GT-R. Sure, halo cars are often loss-leaders that are only there to generate interest in the brand. But the development of a production-version Q50 Eau Rogue will spread the cost of building the GT-R’s drivetrain over two models, which will lower overall production cost per car. That will drive up profits — or lower loss — for both the Eau Rogue and the GT-R .

Finally, it opens up GT-R performance those of us who have families or don’t want our guts rattled loose by the GT-R’s harsh suspension. Plus, the added luxury will satisfy buyers that need a better-equipped cabin than the GT-R can offer, but still want incredible performance.

That's the GT-R version Infiniti that's been hinted at for years......price tag will be about the same as the 2015+ GT-R as well. Too much for my blood.

Infiniti all but certain to produce Q50 Eau Rogue

560-HP Infiniti Q50 Eau Rogue Confirmed For Production
By Viknesh Vijayenthiran 04/22/2014

Infiniti has dropped numerous hints that it wants a powerful sport sedan like the Q50 Eau Rogue concept in its lineup. At the 2014 Beijing Auto Show on Sunday the automaker rolled out a prototype version of the car that is being used for an engineering feasibility study and was previously driven by Formula One world champion Sebastian Vettel.

Infiniti’s official line is that a decision to take the Q50 Eau Rogue to production is currently under evaluation. But on the sidelines of the Beijing show, an insider revealed to Auto Express that the Q50 Eau Rogue has been confirmed for production.

“At this stage it would take more to stop the car getting made than to start things,” the insider is reported to have said. “There is a real buzz about it.”

Power in the Q50 Eau Rogue comes from the Nissan GT-R’s twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V-6. Output is set at 560 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque, which Infiniti says is enough to rocket the car from 0-60 mph in under 4.0 seconds and to a top speed of about 180 mph.

For its initial round of testing, Infiniti’s Q50 Eau Rogue prototype was driven by Sebastian Vettel at the Millbrook Proving Ground in the U.K. (the four-time F1 champion is Infiniti’s official Director of Performance). Vettel’s feedback is now being used for the next stages of the prototype’s extensive development program--testing components, packaging and viability.

Engineers plan to further refine the prototype’s aerodynamic performance, and develop the rear axle and suspension setups. Computer controlling is not ruled out for the suspension, while initial wind tunnel data has shown that the prototype’s lowered ride height has benefited underbody airflow. Further bespoke flat surface engineering for the prototype’s underside is also to be evaluated.
