Q50 Brakes Lose Pressure

When I apply the brakes to my Q50 it stops fine but while sitting with the brakes applied the peddle loses pressure and slowly goes down.

What causes this?

Unless it's a hybrid, the only likely cause is that your Master Cylinder is bypassing (seals are shot). When the seals don't hold pressure, fluid leaks past them and back into the reservoir, causing the pedal to gradually drop to the floor.

I assume it's fixed by now, was the issue the Master Cylinder or a leak somewhere?
