My wife's Volvo V70 has the Asian-warner (sic?) transmission that is common to several model cars. I'm trying to find out if it has a temp sensor and how I might get a new one. I've got a hard shift problem related to temp and noone knows anything including dealers, independents and forums.

Im sure it has some sort of temperature sensor... See if you can find a service manual for the vehicle. I might try calling places that rebuild volvo trans (level ten does) and see what they think about it...
