Not that he has done anything for me specifically, but the guy is basically a walking, talking workshop manual.

I think all Q owners owe him a debt of gratitude.

He is most definitely a highly valued member of this forum.

Qtech, if you read this, I just wanted to say thanks for all your help on the Nico forums, and hope you stick around for a long time.

Thanks buddy!

Having spent many hours with Dennis at T3, I can honestly say he is a treasure trove of info for the Q45. He willingly shares his knowledge and could not be more gracious or helpful in person.

Exactly why I always say every board member must read every post by Q45tech to understand the G50 specifically, and automotive preventative maintenance in general.

I remember one new member complained there were too many and he didn't address the FGY33 directly very often. I guess all that knowledge made his head hurt? All I can do is quote one of Q45tech's most sublime statements,

"Member's standards vary."

Alright already! The guy is good! There, Are you happy now.

(I guess I lost my pride for a moment there.)

In 2000, when down at T3's having guides, etc., done on my 92 Q, Dennis came by and, in that I did not have the Mobil 1 ATF for the flush, he took me in his BEAST to a parts store. Definatley not a candidate for Pebble Beach (both Dennis and the Q!), but Boy, did that Q run! WOT most of the way! Later, in the day plus at T3, Dennis told me of a suspension mod that he was going to make to my Q! OK, why not! He then put a flat washer at the bottom of each strut, and the nut back on! He was right...the suspension was more responsive! Yes, we all owe him many thanks!

Sometimes Dennis loses me in his elaborate explanations but in the end I get a great response and support that I really appreciate, even if I have to ask Wes later if I didn't understand something .

Thanks Dennis

I think he uses the washers to tighten up the sway bar bushings.

Yes, he has advocated this for tuning the reposonse of the rear sway bar links by preloading them.

Same happens to me. I find myself searching google, wikipedia to understand what he is talking about.

Regardless, many thanks to you(Q45Tech) for sharing your knowledge. Where else can you get to ask question to a Q45 guru, let alone find one?
