Q45tech: Took voltage readings on trans. temp. sensor(TCU #33) on my 94' G50 which is supposed to be 1.5V when cool and about .5V when hot. Noticed that reading were jumping all over the place, starting at about 1.75V when coool, sometimes as low as .5V when hot but even then jumping up to over 2V now and then, but changing radically all the time. The variation leads me to suspect harness problems more than sensor problems, as I would expect a bad sensor to fail a bit more systemactically, i.e. holding values a bit more steadily. Getting ready to dive under vehicle to get to the bottom of this. For the time being driving around with the volt meter connected so as to see a pattern in the tea leaves.
